The Church of God in Texas

The Texas State Association of the Church of God is a conglomerate of churches in Texas that have come together to conserve, coordinate, and promote the business, educational, and evangelistic work of the Church of God in Texas.  This Association makes and executes plans for cooperative work, provide for a medium of fellowship instruction, and interchange of ideas and to otherwise engage in religious, charitable and educational work on behalf of the Church of God.  These ministries will be accomplished through the annual camp meetings, conventions, workshops, institutions or other meetings of the TSA through its boards, auxiliaries or representative committees.

 

For years the Texas State Association has been thought to be the representative voice for the African American Churches of God in Texas.  Despite that initial image, we have always affirmed the idea that we reach our hand in fellowship to every blood-washed one and the Texas State Association is available to any and all congregations desiring to be a part of this association or fellowship.  Today, we stand still united but with new goals and new visions to expand and continue the Christian principles and teachings of the Church of God, Anderson, IN as well as West Middlesex, PA.
